Set Up the AI Engine

On first visit, click 'Initialize AI Workspace' to download your chosen model (Gemma 4B recommended). The model is cached in your browser — subsequent sessions start instantly with no re-download. WebGPU is used automatically if your GPU supports it; otherwise it falls back to WebAssembly CPU mode.

Choose a Writing Template

Click any of the 8 template cards: Professional Email, SEO Blog Post, Social Media, Formal Report, Cover Letter, Product Description, Meeting Agenda, or Custom. Each template pre-loads the right AI instructions for that format — you don't need to explain what a cover letter is, the AI already knows.

Describe What You Want

In the context box, describe your content. Be specific: mention the audience, key points, company name, or tone you're aiming for. The more detail you give, the more targeted the output. For Custom mode, you can write anything — no restrictions.

Set Tone & Length

Choose from 6 tones: Professional (formal, structured), Casual (conversational), Persuasive (sales-focused), Friendly (warm and approachable), Academic (research-style), or Urgent (action-driving). Then set length: Concise (quick overview), Standard (balanced), or Detailed (comprehensive deep-dive).

Generate, Review & Export

Click 'Generate Content'. The AI streams the output token by token into a live markdown preview — you can read it as it's written. When done, use 'Copy Content' to grab the text, or 'Download as PDF' to get a cleanly formatted PDF document with one click.

Pro Tips

  • Gemma 4B (High Accuracy) gives the best results for long-form content like reports and blog posts. Switch to Phi-3 for faster responses on short tasks.
  • For emails, include the recipient's role and your relationship ('email to our enterprise client re: Q3 renewal') — the AI produces much better drafts with context.
  • Use the Detailed length for blog posts and the Concise length for social media — it keeps output proportionate to the format.
  • You can stop generation mid-way and use what's written so far. Click 'Stop AI Draft' and the partial output is saved for copy or PDF export.

Common Issues

Model download is slow?

Model files range from 400MB to 2.2GB. They download once and are permanently cached. Choose 'Qwen 2.5 (Lightweight)' for the fastest first-time setup — it's the smallest model with great quality for short content.

Output quality seems low?

Switch to Gemma 4B (High Accuracy) for best quality. Also try adding more context in your brief — vague prompts like 'write a blog post' produce generic results. Specific briefs like 'write a 500-word blog post about WebGPU benefits for frontend developers' produce much better output.

Generation is very slow?

If WebGPU is not available, the AI falls back to CPU mode which is significantly slower. Check your browser supports WebGPU (Chrome or Edge on a recent GPU). Switching to a smaller model like Phi-3 or Qwen also speeds things up considerably.
